Might Be a Dream: Playing The Ibanez J Custom RG Limited
Never have I seen or held in my hands a guitar like the J. Custom. And it wasn’t because of lack of searching. I didn’t see that this high a quality Ibanez was out there. And boy, do I want to get my hands on it now! Mounting it up on a wall, and start building that guitarp*rn wall. You know, one that I would love waking up to. One that looks and feels like a million bucks.
Due to high demand, normally only purchasable in Japan, I now can get my hands on an Ibanez J Custom, and so can you! That makes this one a real treat. Do I want you to buy this beauty and send me a picture once you’ve unboxed it? Heck yeah! Unless you don’t want it featured on my freshly squeezed Insider Events E-mail List.
The Insider Events List is there for a reason. One of them is being a silver lining for guitarists looking for one. On to the next!
Cutting to the chase, this is what I picture: from the very first moment that you hold this guitar; you’ll feel, and perhaps even know in your heart, that this is a special guitar. Its custom “built for shredding and solos” neck blows you away.
Not The Same Ol’ Story
Whereas most guitarists have a guitar wall, you’ll have the guitar wall. Just picturing that gives me butterflies in my stomach. Other guitarists will arguably hear the best tone and balance of notes ever heard from any Ibanez to date inside your solos.
Shred the articulate palette of sounds. Build those riffs begging to be sculpted. Dive those high notes.
Sick and tired of looking at guitars you “should” buy? Following the rules of what you’re “supposed” to do? Why not buy the one you want.
I don’t know when they’re selling their last Custom J, and I don’t want to put any pressure on you, but I have to recommend adding this ax to your wall.
To conclude: my money is on betting that this guitar makes any guitarist re-discover the electric guitar. Word on the street is that guitar dealers were fighting to get their hands on one at NAMM 2017… but all were spoken for beforehand! Don’t hesitate to buy this today.
Shredding Bro Hymn This Incredibly Fast J Custom Wizard Neck?
Wouldn’t It Be Nice?
As Ibanez Wizard necks are thin and built for speed, they unlock effortless playability. Her just-right feel embraces lightning-fast runs, arpeggios, and hammer-ons.
Going From a Peaceful Day to Revolution: Knife Sharp Accuracy with Edge Tremolo
Onto some juicy details! When it comes to how much you’re able to express yourself, I’ll be hard-pressed to think of anything that beats the range of a double-locking tremolo. Crunch time: built for Ibanez by Gotoh, the Edge tremolo dutifully fulfills the rock-solid sound and stability that many are looking for, but only a selected few can get their hands on.

Guitarists of the F*CK Authority Generation: This One Is for You.
Ibanez seems the go to option for guitar hero’s and little leaguers alike. And for a good reason. The Ibanez RG550 has to be the premier guitar for a full age group. It’s like getting your hands on the car you’ve always wanted. It is pricey and exclusive but affordable enough to possess one. The Ibanez RG550 hits that optimal zone of quality and area51-like mystique.
I’m not poo-pooing Fender or Gibson by any stretch of the imagination. I want to build up my wall, and I’m very open to getting my hands on more!
What If I Get the Road Flare Red?
Character in abundance. Pointy horns and an ultra-thin Wizard neck. I mean, c’mon, what’s not to love?
I’m curious, which color floats your boat? If you reach out to me with a picture of your new ax, I may very well feature you in my Events Letter!
Because why not? The 550 is just built for shredding. And I’m looking forward to shredding the strings right off if I get one! Ha!
Ibanez made a wise decision bringing the old stallion out of retirement. And what a job they’ve done. Extracting the very soul of the original and piecing it back together like nobody’s business.
